Uploaded 20th October 2012 These next 4 pictures were kindly sent to me by a model-making friend in California. The photographs were taken by a friend of his who is a combat photographer in the United States forces. The friend is attached to the 129th rescue squadron. The pictures show a high mobility prototype vehicle, which is capable of being deployed from a helicopter, and is mainly used for rescue missions behind enemy lines. It's a prototype, so if the CIA come knocking on my door, i shall deny all knowledge?????
Uploaded 24th August 2012 These next 8 pictures were kindly sent to me by John Turner, who in a moment of exuberance, decided to go on a tank driving treat in the wilds of Leicestershire. The vehicle in John's "capable" hands, (so he tell's me), is an FV432. He spent an hour driving around the track, and was then taken around, with him in the turret. Then John again went driving round the track, this time, with only the periscope available for direction. (He was last seen disappearing over the horizon with instructer in hot pursuit)!!! Seriously, John said he had a great day out, and he assures me that "Rosie" is still in one piece. (Hope the tank was as well mate)????? Anyway, enjoy the photographs, and thanks for sharing them with us John..............
