June Meeting 2013
Mr Secretary....Man of many talents!
Well once again we met but with a smaller turn out rather than the 20 odd plus members due to the fact some folk where at the Steam Festival up the road attending to the 54 foot table!! Never the less those who did attend made it a fun meeting with plenty of banter floating about, especially directed at Mr Secretary for manning the tea stand single handedly....although we did have to draw the line at him dressing in his maid outfit....cheers Alan :)
The club monthly competition expectedly had fewer entries however it was certainly noted that the calibre of models entered where outstanding with the overall winners being for June being...
1st - Shaun Bowater - sdkfz 231/2
2nd - Jaymes Crowther - Bedford qlt
3rd - Martyn Crowther - jagdpanzer
In addition to the competition is was also great to see some fab builds with Alan making yet another spectacle of himself showing off his small willy....don't panic ladies....its a Jeep!
Once again a warm welcome in order for yet another NEW member for 2013, Marc Hannah, who brought along his super builds of various civilian cars and bikes...cant wait to see the many others you have tucked away Marc.
Don't forget folks, next month is the group build ''Tunisia 1943'' really looking forward to that one....might just have something finished for then too :)
